Want to become an American Heart Association CPR Instructor? You will not only teach others how to save lives, but there are many benefits and rewards in being a CPR Instructor. Once certified, you can teach BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR classes to anyone in the healthcare field, such as nurses, doctors, paramedics, dentists, and many other healthcare personnel or healthcare students. You can also teach non-healthcare Heartsaver CPR, AED and First Aid classes to businesses, Scout Leaders, personal trainers, teachers, babysitters, daycare, and many other non-healthcare field. You can make this a full or part-time business.

The ideal instructor candidate will be motivated to teach, motivated to facilitate learning, and ensures that students acquire the skills necessary for successful course completion. You will also view student assessment as a way to improve individual knowledge and skills.
